They are easy to reach by phone, you can order and pay in-person, they are quick. The specific food that I got the quality is supreme and its flavorful and we'll seasoned. The lamb chops and the gravy is delicious. I tried to make that same gravy but I have no idea what they use. The octopus is good, the pasta fioccio is great, the chocolate dessert is good. There is one salad dressing that they have is good. I like the ease that I would order from home and pick up with breeze. Today I will try their steak and hoping to try the branzino and fish.
I was taken here for my birthday and man, what a place! It was such a special occasion. The food was amazing, the service was spot on, and it was such a memorable experience. Having your pasta served to you out of a cheese wheel is so cool! Would definitely recommend this place to those looking for a memorable date night.
Wonderful restaurant! We have been coming here for like 5 years and have never had a bad time. All of the staff we have encountered is friendly but specifically our first ever waiter there was John and he is who we always seek out! He’s kind attentive and really nice to talk to even still 5 years later. We always recommend this place for food and good service!

Hello SWFL! I recently visited this fine Italian restaurant, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The vibe was warm and inviting, with excellent background music and a large selection of wine to choose from. The reservation process was quick and easy—even though it’s season (and everyone in SWFL knows what that means!), the place was packed yet the service remained fast and consistent. Our server, Alex, was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. We didn’t even look at the menu; instead, we asked for his recommendations based on the most popular dishes and guest favorites. From drinks and appetizers to the main course and dessert, he guided us perfectly through the entire dining experience. “The Ball of Cheese” is an absolute must-try! The cheese is so soft and creamy, it practically melts in your mouth. And a big shoutout to our cheese girl—she was amazing! She prepared our dinner right in front of us inside the cheese ball, which made the whole experience even more special. We also met Mr. Isdel, the manager He was extremely friendly and approachable, stopping by several tables to make sure everyone was happy with their meals and service. Overall experience: 10/10 – Excellent! This place is a must-visit if you’re ever near Estero, FL.
We had a last minute change in our schedule over a holiday (Valentines Day) and we were able to get a table at Divieto in about an hour. We were very grateful that we were able to be put on a list for the evening. The food was delicious! We tried salads and different pasta meals, everything that we ordered was great. Love the outdoor space here as well. We’ll be back when we are in the area again!
We’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 2 years. It is our favorite one in the area! Food here is delicious, if you do come here you must try the bruschetta for your appetizer, it’s such a refreshing yet filling appetizer. But honestly, you can never go wrong with anything on their menu. Everything is delicious.
Excellent experience. The filet mignon was absolutely delicious, and the sauce was exquisite, truly the highlight of the dish. The meat cooked medium well had a perfect texture and outstanding flavor. The service was very good, but I especially want to highlight the server who attended us. When serving the pasta with cheese, she explained in detail the history of the cheese wheel, including its two year fermentation and aging process. She shared valuable information about the dish and the cheese we were enjoying. A 100 💯 for her. Definitely a place we will return to.
We had a wonderful experience at Divieto Ristorante. The service was excellent — very attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. The food was equally impressive, both in flavor and presentation. I had the filet mignon, which was perfectly cooked and very flavorful, and my mom had the lamb chops, which she absolutely loved. The portion sizes were just right for the price, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. Overall, we were very pleased and would definitely return.

Our server, Joan, was outstanding throughout the entire evening—attentive, professional, and impressively knowledgeable about both the menu and the wine pairings and overall a great server, His recommendations truly elevated the experience. The supporting staff was amazing, when they noticed my love for parmigiana cheese, while grating he offered me a small price of the fresh cheese, it was so amazing and made my night. The little things really showed. To begin, I ordered the Lychee Cocktail, which was absolutely delightful. It leans toward the sweeter side, which I personally enjoy, and it was perfectly balanced and refreshing. My boyfriend ordered the espresso martini and mentioned it was the best he has ever had. For our meal, we tried the Alfredo prepared in the parmesan wheel, which was nothing short of incredible—rich, flavorful, and easily one of the most memorable dishes I’ve ever had. I initially ordered the Frutti di Mare seafood pasta with added steak. While beautifully prepared, the seafood flavor was slightly stronger than my personal preference. However, this was purely subjective and likely just my own taste. The staff graciously exchanged it for the shrimp Alfredo, which turned out to be absolutely phenomenal—creamy, perfectly cooked, and truly to die for. Overall, the service, atmosphere, cocktails, and food made for a fantastic experience. We will absolutely be returning.
